Unfortunately Mafia Kingfish is the book with the most information between two covers on Carlos Marcello. A good starting point if you want to know more on The Little Man but the author got a lot of things wrong about Marcello's early life. The second half of the book speculates on Marcello's roll in the Kennedy assassination.

The documentary Excellent Cadavers, based on the book by Alexander Stille, is one of the best Mafia docs out there. Focusing on the Sicilian Mafia and Toto Riina who kept Sicily gripped in fear for decades. There was an HBO movie by the same name based on the life of Giovanni Falcone, not a bad movie but would love to see a better one made.

An entertaining watch about Bumpy Johnson who controlled Harlem but like most movies/series it's about 90% fiction.

A recent documentary release on Netflix and an excellent doc. about Tomasso Buschetta who turned on the Sicilian Families and worked with Giovanni Falcone.
